The Challenge
Haddenham Youth FC is a grassroots football club for all ages and abilities. The club has a rich history and a very strong connection to its village community. However, with the club's brand appearing dated, they were losing promising players to other teams and struggling to attract new boys, girls and coaches to their programmes. Rebranding was essential if the club wanted to grow and thrive.
The Solution
As a non-profit organisation, HYFC invests all money raised back into the club and players. So Nucco agreed to take on the work as part of our own CSR exploits. Our team used annual charity volunteering days to collaborate with the HYFC committee and reposition the club.
Our team was responsible for creating a new visual identity, brand guidelines, animations, banners, posters, letters, and presentation templates. New game-day kit, training tops and a website are also in the works.
The new branding has been very well-received by the whole Haddenham community and has helped bring new players to the club, fresh energy around the development of girl's teams, additional funding discussions with local government and even a friendly match with a team from the French league champions, PSG.
